Conversion of Lyautey Barracks, Villingen-Schwenningen

Deutsche Bauwert is converting the existing, listed buildings on the site of the former Lyautey Barracks in Villingen-Schwenningen into residential buildings and constructing new buildings in other areas. In the development of the existing and new buildings, the complete supply and disposal (drainage, district heating, gas, water, electricity, telecommunications) is being reorganized. A southern area is also connected to the new main rainwater collector to be constructed. The heat supply is ensured by a new combined heat and power plant with district heating lines. In the road and outdoor facility planning, care should be taken to preserve the former character of the barracks site, especially the central parade ground.
