General Planning of the DAIMLER Company Filling Station, Immendingen

Daimler AG planned the construction of a test and technology center for vehicle development on the Bundeswehr site in Immendingen.

The planned test site essentially consisted of the central modules: circular track, measuring straight, endurance track and simulation area. The existing filling station of the Oberfeldwebel-Schreiber Barracks Immendingen in the south of the high-rise building zone was to be structurally and technically adapted for the purposes of the test operation. For future use, among other things, the volume storage of fuel was to be changed and adapted. In addition to standard fuels (premium, diesel), several special diesel fuels, biofuels (E25 and E100) as well as AdBlue and windscreen washer fluid were to be available. In order to meet the special legal requirements when handling water-polluting substances, weather protection was provided for some of the filling stations and the system was designed according to the recognized rules of technology.
