New Transformer Station in Kehl-Kork

SPIE is constructing a turnkey transformer station in Kork in the Kehl area of Baden-Württemberg on behalf of the transmission system operator TransnetBW. The new 380/110kV transformer station in Kork will stabilize the grid supply in the municipality of Kehl and make it future-proof. The project is being implemented on an undeveloped site (greenfield).

The design planning was prepared and approved in advance by TransnetBW. On this basis, Ingenieurbüro Fritz Spieth took over the implementation planning and preparation of the tender documents.

Part of the planning services was to check the terrain modeling and adapt it to the requirements of surface drainage. Traffic facilities including transformer transport with special vehicles for the transformer station also had to be planned.
