Redevelopment Haldenstraße, Baltmannsweiler

The municipality of Baltmannsweiler planned the comprehensive redevelopment of Haldenstraße from Reichenbacher Straße to Karlstraße over a length of approximately 170 m. The planned renovation area is located south of the town center and borders Karlstraße to the east and Reichenbacher Straße to the west. The construction project involved earthworks, civil engineering and road construction works as well as pipe delivery and pipe laying works. Access to the construction site was via Reichenbacher Straße from the west and Karlstraße from the east. Delivery traffic had to be ensured as far as possible.

The conversion of Reichenbacher Straße in the junction area with Haldenstraße was carried out with half-lane closure and traffic light control. The necessary areas had to be kept clear for individual traffic. Access routes (e.g. for the fire brigade, emergency services) and building entrances had to be kept clear and accessible at all times. It should be noted that there was a kindergarten at Haldenstraße 22 (east of the renovation area), which could be reached on foot from the town center via Haldenstraße. Access and entrance to the kindergarten had to be kept clear at all times. Work at the intersection of Halden-/Karlstraße therefore had to be carried out during kindergarten holidays.
