Bridge integration

The road construction office of the districts of Esslingen and Göppingen is currently planning an important section of the Filstal RS14 cycle highway. This section extends over a length of around 800 metres and runs from the end of the demonstration section to the Fils crossing near Ebersbach. A central element of this planning is the new Fils bridge, which will lead the cycle path over the Fils.

The cycle path will be designed as a two-way cycle path and will be 5 metres wide to make cycling safe and comfortable.

We have taken on the design and implementation planning as well as the media coordination for this project.

The bridge lift take place on 20 March 2025. This step marks significant progress in the realisation of the project and will further improve the connection between the existing cycle paths.
