New shareholders as of January 1, 2026
On January 1, 2026, the company expanded its shareholder group: Jessica Anhalt-Rupp, Benjamin Bär, David Bendel, Steffen Bühring, Phillip Degen, Ben Horsmann, Simon Kissel, Sascha Mack, and Dorothea Steinfeld joined as new shareholders, strengthening the company's future direction.

New locations in Leipzig and Tauberbischofsheim and investment in DC Alliance GmbH
In 2025, the company continued to grow: A new location was established in Leipzig, and in Tauberbischofsheim, Ingenieurbüro Fritz Spieth became a shareholder in IBU Ingenieurgesellschaft für Bauwesen und Umwelttechnik mbH and additionally founded its own office. Furthermore, the company invested in DC Alliance GmbH to specifically expand its competencies in data center and infrastructure development.

Acquisition of IST Ingenieurgesellschaft and founding of the Munich office
The acquisition of IST Ingenieurgesellschaft in Sinsheim created a new office location, further expanding regional strength in Baden-Württemberg. At the same time, the founding of the Munich office marked an important step in the expansion to Bavaria and opened up additional market opportunities in southern Germany.
Relocation to Euskirchen
The Weilerswist office was strategically realigned as part of the merger with the Ingenieurbüro Klaus Hüllbrock. In April 2022, the location was moved to Euskirchen in the "Alte Tuchfabrik" and the Euskirchen office was founded. With this step, Ingenieurbüro Fritz Spieth consolidated its competencies in the North Rhine-Westphalia region.

Expansion of presence in Baden-Württemberg and sale of INFRA Ingenieurgesellschaft
With the founding of the Schwäbisch Hall office, the regional presence in Baden-Württemberg was further strengthened. In addition, the sale of INFRA Ingenieurgesellschaft to INFRA T. Salomon took place in June 2021, a strategic step toward clear repositioning.
New shareholders, expansion of management, transfer of IBV shares
Georg Heubach, Achim Schmielau, and Georg Thier joined the company as shareholders. Bernd Schulz was appointed managing director in January 2020. The shares in IBV Ingenieure GmbH were transferred to Christian Burgbacher on January 1, 2020.

Merger, management change, departure of shareholders, and sale of kosima shares
2019 was characterized by structural and personnel changes. On January 1, F.S. Ingenieure GmbH was merged into Ingenieurbüro Fritz Spieth Beratende Ingenieure GmbH and fully integrated. In April, Achim Schmielau and Georg Thier assumed the role of individually authorized managing directors. In December, Gerhard Heubach and Rainer Ludmann departed as shareholders; on December 31, Rainer Ludmann also ended his managing director activities. Also at year-end, the shares in kosima GmbH were sold to Ronny Biesinger.

Expansion to North Rhine-Westphalia
With the founding of the Weilerswist office in 2016, Ingenieurbüro Fritz Spieth expanded its presence in North Rhine-Westphalia. The location was strengthened through the takeover of employees from the Ingenieurbüro Dipl.-Ing. Christoph Geißler in 2022.

Bernd Schulz, Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) and with the company since 1993, became shareholder of Ingenieurbüro Fritz Spieth Beratende Ingenieure GmbH. At the same time, the company underscored its high quality standards with DIN EN ISO 9001 certification, establishing the foundation for continuous development of its processes and services.

Founding of the Fritz Spieth Engineering Office
On April 1, 1955, Baurat Fritz Spieth founded the Fritz Spieth Engineering Office in Oberesslingen. The focus areas were wastewater technology, transportation, as well as water, gas, electricity, and fuel supply.
