Expansion of IFAT PG 300 production plant - Infineon, Villach

Project description

At its Villach site in Austria, Infineon Technologies AG operates a global competence centre for power electronics and new semiconductor materials. In the course of a site expansion, Infineon was investing 1.6 billion euros in a new future-oriented clean room factory of 300-millimetre technology. A cleanroom factory with a support and technical building for about 400 highly qualified workplaces was being built on an area of about 60,000 square metres. Construction started in the first half of 2019, with production scheduled to begin in early 2021. Spieth Engineers were commissioned by Exyte Central Europe GmbH with the infrastructure planning.
