Conversion of Lyautey Barracks, Villingen-Schwenningen

On the site of the former Lyautey barracks in Villingen-Schwenningen, Deutsche Bauwert is developing the existing, listed buildings as residential buildings and constructing new buildings in other sections. During the development of the existing and new buildings, the complete supply and disposal (drainage, local heating, gas, water, electricity, telecommunications) will be rearranged. An area to the south will also be connected to the main rainwater collector to be built. The heat supply will be ensured by a new combined heat and power plant with local heating pipes. When planning the streets and outdoor facilities, care should be taken to preserve the former character of the barracks grounds, especially the central parade ground.
