Ingenieurbüro Fritz Spieth Beratende Ingenieure GmbH has been the victim of a targeted hacker attack by criminals.

Immediately after discovering the attack, our management informed the authorities and filed a report. At the same time, all IT systems were shut down and alternatively isolated to protect our customers, suppliers and employees.

By consistently working through an emergency protocol and IT contingency plan, our company has returned to normal operations. In future, we will have a compromise assessment carried out by independent experts to further increase our IT security level and go beyond our previous standards.

In the opinion of independent IT experts, there are currently no indications that the portals we use and the emails we send pose an increased risk.
