Festive inauguration of Pfälzer Platz in Pforzheim

Pfälzer Platz in Pforzheim was officially opened on 8 December. Numerous citizens and political celebrities attended the event, making the opening a special occasion for the city. The square is an important building block for urban development and now offers a modern, attractive place for the population to spend time.

The project was developed in close co-operation with Büro Glück Landschaftsarchitektur GmbH and Bietigheimer Gartengestaltung. Our contribution was primarily in the planning of the underground infrastructure, including rainwater retention and a cistern that will ensure sustainable irrigation of the trees and plants in future.

In addition, we supported Büro Glück with the surface planning from service phase 3 onwards, took over the service description and the local construction supervision for the entire project.

The inauguration marks the completion of a project that is not only impressive in terms of design, but also makes an important contribution to ecological urban development thanks to its sustainable infrastructure.
