From sewer surveying to digital terrain modelling

At Spieth, you get everything from a single source!

Rehabilitating a sewer system means much more than just closing roads and planning diversions. Before you can even start planning a sewer renovation, you need a professional survey of the current situation. This often requires meticulous surveying, which records the dimensions of inlets and outlets as well as manholes etc. in detail and accurately.

We at Spieth Ingenieure are ideally equipped for this. With our latest GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) surveying technology and the robotic total station, we can precisely measure sewer systems and accurately record angles in manholes that are difficult to reach or see.

Our Spieth surveying team is currently surveying the sewer system of a municipality in Baden-Württemberg. Here, the above-ground and underground conditions need to be precisely recorded so that a digital terrain model can then be created from the extensive surveying images.
