What is happening at the entrance to Künzelsau?

The large construction site in the centre of Künzelsau in the Stuttgarter Straße redevelopment area cannot be overlooked. The site is being prepared for the construction of the new district hall and the ELSA municipal car park. The remediation of contaminated sites was completed in the summer and the temporary goods delivery for Kaufland is also finished. At the beginning of July 2024, the extensive construction work to reorganise the supply and disposal lines began, which is on schedule and is expected to last until mid-2025.

At a public information event on 16 October 2024, the engineering firm Fritz Spieth, together with other companies involved and representatives of Künzelsau town council, informed residents about the planned further course of the project. 

Further construction site talks will be held at irregular intervals over the coming months. Interested citizens will then again have the opportunity to find out about the current status of the development work.
