Spieth on Tour

On Friday 13 May 2022, we set off early in the morning for Ludwigsburg to the Schlosshotel Monrepos. After arriving at the hotel, we walked to the centre of Ludwigsburg, where we had booked a guided tour of the imposing Residenzschloss Ludwigsburg. After the palace tour, we had a hearty lunch in a nearby beer garden. Freshly invigorated, we returned to Monrepos, where an interesting lecture on the topic of "corporate culture" awaited us in the lakeside castle. At 6:00 p.m. it was then time to "discover the winery, experience the wines". During a wine tasting with a guided tour of the wine cellar, we tasted exquisite wines from the Herzog von Württemberg winery. With stimulating conversations and in a cosy atmosphere, the day ended in the winter garden of the Schlosshotel, where we indulged in a delicious 4-course meal.

The next morning we had breakfast together before setting off for either a 2-hour golf taster course, pedal boating or an extensive walk in the park. Around noon, we had a snack and then started our return journey. We laughed a lot, ate a lot and experienced many wonderful moments - Ludwigsburg will remain in our fond memories!
